Women, more precious than jewels
On 25 March 2026, St Patrick-on-the-hill and Faith Cares presented a Women’s Day event at the chapel for women of the greater Hogsback community.
Ronel Davis from Faith Cares arranged this Women’s Day event in Hogsback because she is passionate about supporting women in our community. She sees every outreach as a chance to share love and the message of Jesus Christ, she explained.
During her devotion, she reflected on Proverbs 3:15 (ESV): She is more precious than jewels, and nothing you desire can compare with her. God’s wisdom helps us find peace and make good decisions, even in challenging times with our children, marriages, or finances.
By cooperating with organisations such as Faith Cares, the St Patrick-on-the-hill congregation makes a positive impact on the lives of the greater Hogsback community.
The ladies of St Patrick’s entertained the ladies with refreshments while Faith Cares gifted them with care packages.
